Last Thanksgiving I labored over a Sweet Potato Casserole that I knew Hubby-dear would like. It was truly a labor of love, because sweet potatoes are not my favorites. Mom always made candied sweet potatoes and insisted that we eat them at Thanksgiving. I remember swallowing mine whole and being thankful that we only had them once a year.

Well mu casserole ended up on the kitchen floor, when it slipped out of my hands. I yelled. I had potatoes all over my white cabinets, the brick floors and me. Uncle Rusty said it was O.K.! “I don’t like them anyway,” he added.

The worst thing about my casserole accident, was that I broke my favorite casserole dish. Darn sweet potatoes anyway!!
