Patchwork

November has arrived, Halloween is over and I have just realized that Christmas is a mere 49 days away. Good grief!! I haven’t even completed by Christmas shopping!!

Usually, by this time of year, I have finished my shopping and have the gifts wrapped and ready to go under the tree!

Needless to say, I have been busy with other commitments. The summer just flew by! We camped with our three grandchildren for 10 days in June; attended a wedding or two; enjoyed a trip to Fredricksburg with friends; checked out Cane River Brewery in Natchitoches; took care of doctor’s appointments; watched an entire season of Stranger Things in two days; helped with Vacation Bible School, helped United Way “Build-A -Bus” at Walmart, which added more contributions to our Back-to-School Rally in August; went to a play at Northwestern; drove back and forth to the Wesley Center in Woodworth several times and then served on staff at Cursillo in October; enjoyed a three-week vacation in the camper to North Carolina and then meandered home through Tennessee with our camping friends; and then Many Tiger Football started…..where we have reserved seats at all the home games and enjoy the band, dancers, cheerleaders and of course our awesome team!
