Speaking Out for Louisiana Citizens

A recent poll by J. M. C. Analytics & Polling proved devastating results for Governor John Bel Edwards. Even though the poll showed him leading at 38%, that was quite low. Rep. Ralph Abraham had 23% and businessman Eddie Rispone was at 7%. With the Governor only polling 38% , Edwards has little chance of avoiding a runoff. He needs at least 50% plus 1% for that.

In a two-way runoff between Edwards and Abraham, the two candidates are statistically tied considering the margin of error. It was pointed out that name recognition is an advantage to a sitting governor. If political ads continue to expose Edwards for his tax raising ways, anti-businessmen and litigation crusade are targeting the energy industry, the governor is sure to fall behind Edwards in a state that leans so much Republican.
