Local softball teams fall just short of state championships

Although packed with talent, local Sabine softball teams fell slightly short of making it to the LHSAA playoff finals this year.

The Many Lady Tigers fell to Kinder 12-0 in the semi-final, which was played on April 26 at Frasch Park in Sulphur.

The Tigers fell behind early following two doubles by their opponents in the first inning. Makynli Miller’s single in the third inning was a breath of hope for the Tigers, but one that was not meant to be. Brook Jenkins and Tia Holmes also had singles on the game.
