“The Shack” will screen May 4

“The Shack” will play at Movies in Many on Saturday, May 4. Admission to this deeply

inspirational film will be free.

The film cost $20 million to make in 2017 and grossed almost $100 million at theaters across the United States. It also received the prestigious DOVE Award for the Inspirational Film of the Year in 2017.

After suffering a family tragedy, Mack Phillips spirals into a deep depression that causes him to question his innermost beliefs and what is really important to him. Facing a crisis of faith, he receives a mysterious letter urging him to an abandoned shack in the Oregon wilderness. Despite his doubts, Mack journeys to the shack and encounters an enigmatic trio of strangers led by a woman named Papa. Through this meeting, Mack finds important truths that will transform his understanding of his tragedy and change his life forever.
