Cain arrested for meth sales in school zone

The Tri-Parish Narcotics Task Force (comprised of deputies from DeSoto, Red River, and Sabine Parishes) recently concluded an investigation which resulted in arrest warrants being issued for the distribution of illegal drugs in a school zone.

William K. Cain, 34, of Florien, was booked into the Sabine Parish Detention Center on March 27 for two counts of distribution of methamphetamines and two counts of distribution of methamphetamines in a school zone.  The investigation started after several complaints were received about drug activity near the school in Florien.  11th Judicial District Judge Stephen Beasley set the bond at $28,000 for Cain.
