The Many Tigers lost an absolute heartbreaker to the Welsh Greyhounds 28-21 during the LHSAA 2A semifinal held on November 30 at John Curtis Tiger Stadium in Many.

The loss puts an end to the season which players, coaches, and local fans would end with a championship in the Super Dome this weekend.

The team put up an amazing 15-2 record, with its only losses were against a higher classification opponent, North Desoto, and Welsh, who also defeated the Tigers last year during the same leg of the playoffs.

Many kicked off to Welsh to start the game, and Austyn Benoit quickly put up a fiveyard rushing touchdown which had the Tigers trailing early by seven points.
