Mayor G.J. “Pie” Martinez to reign as 2018 Fiesta King
The Zwolle Tamale Fiesta is pleased to announce that Zwolle mayor and third generation logger G.J. “Pie” Martinez will reign over this year’s beloved festival as king.
Martinez considers himself blessed by the town he represents and is honored he has been chosen for the prestigious title.
In the beginning
G.J. “Pie” Martinez was born on December 11, 1940 in Shreveport to Catherine Sepulvado Martinez and the late G.L. “Chooch” Martinez of Zwolle.
