On December 14, 2012, Joseph Ryan was born with Hypoplasitc Left Heart Syndrome, meaning he only had half of a heart. The first several months of his life were spent in the hospital, undergoing two different openheart surgeries during that time.
Through this time the child’s father, Many High School football coach Jeremie Ryan and his wife, learned more and more about his condition and CHDs in general and did their best to educate others around us.
