Sabine Medical Center named USDA Business of Year

Central Louisiana Hospital Group was recently recognized as the USDA Business of the Year for their efforts in ensuring that rural healthcare needs are met through their acquisition of Sabine Medical Center, Oakdale Community Hospital, Avoyelles Hospital, and Winn Parish Medical Center.

“What a great privilege it is saving over 750 jobs, keeping one of the largest employers in each respective community going, and making sure the people of Avoyelles, Oakdale, Sabine, and Winnfield have an emergency room when minutes matter for so many thousands of lives,” said Central Louisiana Hospital Group CEO Rock Bordelon.
