The award-winning Many High School Band will present its annual fund-raising concert at the Many Community Center on Friday, May 5, at 7 p.m.
The event is sponsored by Many High School, the Band Boosters Club, Mayor Ken Freeman, the Cultural District Advisory Committee, and the Town of Many. Admission is $7 for adults, $5 for students, free for children under five. All proceeds will go to the band.
During bandmaster Scott DeBose’s first year (2008-09) there were only six sixth graders and 28 students in the 7th - 12th grade band. This year there are 100 students in the 5th - 12th grade.
