Tigers continue dominance; take out Oakdale 68-19

Those mighty Many Tigers continued their season of domination as they soundly defeated the Oakdale Warriors 68-19 during I-AA district play on October 21. As it has been for the entirety of the season, the opponent’s defense had no answer to the Tigers’ high-powered rushing game, which put up a total of 452 yards on the night with 49 attempts. Junior AJ Carter led with 160 yards on 12 attempts and four touchdowns. He was followed by Pquawn Williams, who had 104 yards on two carries, Ni’Kendrick Carter with 16 carries for 80 yards and a touchdown, Shacori Cillier with 42 yards on eight carries and a touchdown, and Tabarius Garner with two carries for 34 yards and a touchdown. Quan Sweet also had nine carries for 32 yards. Garner, as quarterback, completed five of nine passes for 82 yards and two touchdowns. On the other side of the ball, the defense held strong, with Gage Leach leading the unit with six tackles.
