On Saturday, dedicated voters from both the Democrat and Republican parties turned out to choose their preferred nominee for the next president of the United States. It was a tight race between the two top Republican potential nominees, Ted Cruz and Donald Trump. With 37.7 percent of Sabine voters turning out, Ted Cruz edged out the competition with 43 percent of the vote, or 728 total votes.
