The seven-year anniversary of the murder of Millie Lambert, 70, of Trinidad Drive in Noble, is fast approaching. Mrs. Lambert died in her home from a single gunshot to the right side of her head at approximately 7 p.m. on Saturday night, Jan. 26, 2008. Her husband, Larry, 69, was in another section of the home, which faced Toledo Bend Lake in a quiet camphouse community, off Malmay Road. Lambert was watching television in the living room and heard an unusual “pop” in the rear of the home, where his wife was completing chores. He got up to investigate and came faceto- face with a hooded intruder. Entry had been gained through an unlocked door which led from the carport into the home.
