GOOD BYE, COUSIN JUNIOR

This past week our parish suffered a tremendous loss with the death of Judge John S. Pickett, Jr. His life reflected throughout this parish in many ways. Many politicians state they are public servants, but Jr. (as we called him) truly lived that role. He was always accessible to the public. Many times when people came to him for legal services he did not even charge them, but just gave advice and counsel services.
