Tia Holmes put up two shutout performances over the championship weekend to lift the Many Tigers softball team to their second consecutive 2A state championship.
Many started out the scoring after Kirsten Martinez hit an RBI double to the outfield wall to give a 1-0 lead against Port Barre in the second inning.
The third inning saw Cameron Ford launch the game’s only home run to give the Tigers a 3-0 advantage.
