They didn’t have the honor of riding in Many’s 2020 Christmas Parade but the honorees were recognized in a special ceremony at Many’s City Hall last Tuesday.
Many Mayor Ken Freeman presented the four honorees with plaques for their achievements. He also promised them the parade was simply being postponed until the East holidays because of the Corona Virus.
“We will have a parade in 2021 and celebrate the resurrection of Christ instead of the birth of Christ,” the mayor promised.
The honorees with their families attended and enjoyed the brief ceremony and having their pictures made around City Hall that was all decked out for the Christmas holidays.
