The Louisiana Travel Association (LTA) introduced Linda Curtis-Sparks as the winner of the 2020 Will Mangham Tourism Lifetime Achievement Award during its Annual Meeting January 30, 2020 in Charenton.

Linda Curtis-Sparks joined the ranks of some Louisiana tourism legends, including, Gerald Breaux, Monte Hurley, Marion Fox, Michael Valentino, Shelley Johnson and the late Governor Kathleen Blanco as this year’s recipient of this prestigious award. She is a passionate advocate for Louisiana and has devoted her life to building tourism and creating economic development opportunities in the rural parishes of central and western Louisiana. She is generous with her time and honest in her assessments. She has tirelessly crossed over borders and barriers to market the entire region, not just her own parish. She has been a true testament to the adage that a “rising tide raises all boats.”
