Funeral services honoring the life of Joshua Tristan Graves were held at Old Pisgah Baptist Church in Marthaville on January 5, 2020 with Brother Dean Johnson officiating; burial followed at the church cemetery. Joshua was born September 21, 1987 in Shreveport to Gary and Shirley Graves and entered into rest on December 31, 2019 in Pleasant Hill.
Preceding Joshua in death were his father, Gary Graves; grandparents, Earl & Mary Fox and Wayne & Beatrice Graves. Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Jacque Graves of Pleasant Hill, sons, Braylon & Brayson Graves of Pleasant Hill; mother, Shirley Graves of Mitchell; brothers, Shane Graves & wife, Nikki of Pleasant Hill; Jeremy Graves & wife, Meghan of Arcadia; sisters, Tonya Brown & husband, Trey of Pleasant Hill; Chasity Veuleman & husband, Ragan of Zwolle; Philecia Walker & husband, Reggie of Natchitoches, and Ashley Hillman & husband, Kevin of Ebarb; along with a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives.
Honoring Joshua as pallbearers were Shane Graves, Jeremy Graves, Aaron Graves, Wesley Graves, Kyle Veuleman, and Boogie Brown. Honorary pallbearers were Trey Brown, Ragan Veuleman, Reggie Walker, and Kevin Hillman.
