The Gasaway, Neal, Maxie, Carhee, and Thomas families from the Yellow Pine area of Florien involved their children in the Spring Trash Bash held March 24. They felt it was a great way to teach the children and teens to take responsibility for where they live.
Ways parents can teach kids not to litter:
--Dedicate a couple of times a month to collect trash around your homes or neighborhood with your kids.
