Kelly Kiper Longoria, who was the victim of a kidnapping and attempted murder on July 16 in Winnsboro, was shot and left for dead by her abductor. He is now jailed under a $1 million bond. Fortunately, she was found and rushed to a local hospital, where she was stabilized. She was then airlifted to the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, where she spent several weeks. She was then sent to the Methodist Rehabilitation Center and now she is home.
