The Board of Directors of the Tamale Fiesta has announced that the 2016 King is Lee McCann, President/CEO, COO of Sabine State Bank and Trust Co. The bank has always been supportive of the Tamale Fiesta and this year’s king is carrying on the tradition of supporting the Zwolle festival. In the past, the bank has sponsored events, had parade entries and hosted receptions for the Fiesta. “I was very honored to be asked to serve as the 2016 King of the Tamale Fiesta,” he stated. “l will do my very best.” McCann, along with other royalty, attended the Queen’s Tea and was formally introduced onstage following the Fiesta Pageant on August 20 with First Lady Cindy Dusang Ezernack.
