Even mother nature couldn’t stop the seventh annual Toledo Bend Lake Association (TBLA)/ Sabine Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) Fish Fest. What started out as a questionable day of fishing turned into one of the best fishing days. Rainy days preceded the June 4 event, but the enthusiasm of the 106 youth fishermen who found their spot on the banks of Cypress Bend Park turned the morning into one great fishing day. The sky was overcast, but the fish were biting.
