    An 18-year-old University of Louisiana at Lafayette freshman was struck and killed as he crossed I-10 in Lafayette at l:45 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 13. Grant James Ingram of Natchitoches, died at the scene. According to Cpl. Paul Mouton of the Lafayette Police Dept., Ingram had been struck multiple times before a woman stopped and alerted authorities. He was crossing for an unknown reason, officers stated.
