The Ho Minti Society Culture Camp will take place on June 14-19 for children aged 5-17.

This marks the fourth year for the camp, which is held at North Toledo Bend State Park from 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. daily. An overnight option is available with the supervision of parents or guardians.

The camp features a number of activities for children including stick ball, native language workshops, pottery, nature walks, and much more.

Ho Minti is a Choctaw phrase meaning “y’all come.” The society calls for a coming back together and return to traditional American Indian ways of knowing and doing. They promote cultural awareness, service, community organizing, and education in a way that respects traditional knowledge and the breadth of their history and heritage.
