Roy Edward Ebarb passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, December 14, 2025 in Many, LA just 3 days away from his 99th birthday. Roy was born to Ed and Louise Ebarb of Ebarb, LA on December 17, 1926. He is predeceased by siblings; Pauline Ebarb, Ruel Ebarb, Mildred Sepulvado, and Ruth Tucker with two living sisters, Sybil Gaudet of Crowley, LA and Patricia Sepulvado of Zwolle, LA.

After obtaining his diploma, Roy joined the Army where he was stationed in post-WW2 Germany. He was honorably discharged as Corporal on May 16, 1962.

After returning to the States, he went to work for International Paper Company where he retired from the Forestry Department. He also worked at Big Star in Zwolle and was a friendly face and voice to many customers.

Roy spent his final years at Toledo Bend Retirement in Zwolle and also Sabine Retirement and Rehab in Many, LA. He loved music, dancing and playing bingo with all of his friends and staff at the retirement homes. Everyone knew Mr. Roy and was often commented upon as having such a festive spirit.

He was devout Catholic all of his life, praying the Rosary every day.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2025 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Joseph Maddala officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at 5:00 PM at Warren Meadows Funeral Home, Zwolle LA. A Rosary service will be held at 6:00 PM.
