The fourth annual Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) for children awareness social was held on Oct. 16 at VFW Post #4858 in Many and brought several guest speakers and a sense of urgency for volunteers to the people of Sabine Parish. The local CASA group was started in 2003 in order to change the trajectory of the life of children who have found them-selves wrapped up in the legal situations due to any number of reasons.
