The Many Bass Club held its fourth tournament of 2025 on April 12 and 13. The anglers could choose to fish either Saturday or Sunday, and 14 anglers fished the tournament. Saturday’s weather was warm and breezy with air temps starting in the low fifties, warming to the seventies. Sunday was overcast most of the day but very windy. Only five, five-fish limits were weighed in, and all fish were released alive. The bite was shallow but difficult, and large bites were hard to come by. The fish were mostly in post spawn.
Gary West won the tournament with a nice stringer that weighed 17.23 pounds. Gary fished the mid-lake area and caught his fish flipping bushes. John Bowen finished second with 12.76 pounds. He caught his fish on the south end of the Lake, fishing Carolina rigs and he also caught the big fish of the tournament which weighed 5.15 pounds. James Edwards placed third with 11.33 pounds. James caught his fish on the south end of the Lake fishing shallow depths with spinnerbaits.
