Funeral services for Cora Ann “Mams” Anderson, 78, of Zwolle, LA, will be held on Sunday, March 2, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Carson Baptist Church with Jim Brown, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Sardis Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at 5:30 PM at Warren Meadows Funeral Home, Zwolle LA.
Cora Ann “Mams” Anderson was born on Saturday, July 6, 1946 in Sabine Parish, LA. She passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 in Dallas, TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Troy Monroe McComic and Ethel Inez (Bush) McComic; husband, Prentice Ray Anderson, Sr.; brothers, Tommy Wayne McComic and Rayford Monroe McComic, Sr.; sister-in-law, Etoil DeWitt and her brotherin- law, James B. Anderson.
She is survived by her son, Prentice Ray Anderson, Jr. of Zwolle, LA; grandchildren: Ashlee Anderson of Dallas, TX, Kaleb Ryan Anderson and wife Grace of Mobile, AL and Paige Heard of Many, LA; niece, Marie Bullard of Zwolle, LA; special daughter, Becky Heard of Many, LA; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Pallbearers will be: Dustin Remedies, Keith “Bubba” Lightfoot, Adam Lightfoot, Logan Lightfoot, Jacob Lightfoot, and Shane Castille.
