Many PD recently joined with the Sabine Parish Coroner’s Office and Sabine Prevention Alliance on January 25 in the effort to to educate the children about the dangers of Fentanyl.
Many PD Chief of Police Cheryl Wooley, Sabine Parish Coroner and Many PD detective Mark Holder, Many PD detective James Young, Many PD SRO Marshal Evans, Deputy Coroners Stanley Cook , Wayne O’Con, and Brian Mattison and James Wagley with Sabine Prevention Alliance spoke to the children about the dangers of taking pills that didn’t come from their parents, a doctor or nurse.
The audience was great with lots of questions and interactions. Snacks were provided by Chief Wooley and Wayne O’Con and the Coroner’s office handed out wristbands, literature and cups with the One Pill Can Kill slogan.
The One Pill Can Kill campaign is from DEA and the state Attorney General’s office.
