Funeral services for Bentlee Paul Wayne DeLatin, 4, of Many, LA, were held on Saturday, November 30, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Warren Meadows Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Daniel Lowe officiating. Burial followed in the Trinity Cemetery.
Bentlee Paul Wayne DeLatin was born on Monday, November 16, 2020 in Natchitoches, LA. He passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2024 in Many, LA.
Bentlee DeLatin, also known as “Bubbie”, loved dinosaurs and riding the tractor with his daddy. He was so full of life and wild. He kept everyone on their toes at all times. His favorite color was green. Which he called the Dinahoe color. His favorite part of the day was going to get donut holes with his momma before school every morning. Bentlee loved everyone and didn’t meet a stranger. He was more than willing to give any and everyone a snot nosed kiss. He will be missed by anyone who ever got the chance to lay eyes on him.
He was preceded in death by his great grandma, Cheryl Thomas; great uncle Adam Lahneman; great grandma, Inez Slay and great grandpa, Ted Dees.
He is survived by his Mama, Samantha DeLatin of Many, LA: Daddy, Destry DeLatin of Many, LA; Brothers, Kadden Miller and Kody Miller of Many, LA and Sister, Oaklynn DeLatin (Honey) of Many, LA; Mawmaw, Patricia Lahnemam; Papaw, Matthew Slay and Mamaw, Samantha Slay; Pop-Pop, Jason DeLatin and EE, Shannon DeLatin; MiMi, Buffy Dees; Uncles: Matthew Slay, Michael Slay, Bailey DeLatin, Keaton DeLatin, Jaydan DeLatin, Kadyn Dees, Austin Slay and Harmon Slay; Aunts, Sarah Slay and Halee Peterson; cousin, Lawson DeLatin. He was loved by a host of friends who were more than family and his favorite people at Faithlynn’s Learning Academy.
Pallbearers will be: Bailey DeLatin, Keaton DeLatin, Matthew Slay and Michael Slay.
