The Many Bass Club held its monthly tournament on November 9 and 10. The anglers could choose to fish either Saturday or Sunday. Fourteen anglers fished the tournament. The weather was warm with over three inches of rain falling Friday night and Saturday. Light rain continued for much of the morning on Sunday. Two anglers fished Saturday, but the majority waited to fish Sunday due to less rain forecasted on Sunday. Only three five-fish limits were weighed with the top three stringers weighing from 11 pounds to 15 pounds. The top two stringers were caught on Sunday.
Congratulations to Michael Woods for winning the tournament with a stringer that weighed 15.37 pounds. Michael reported that he caught his fish by deep cranking mid-lake areas. Gary West had the second place stringer which weighed 12.33 pounds. Gary also had the Big Fish of the tournament which weighed 4.01 pounds. He caught his fish in the mid-lake area on a rattletrap bite. James Edwards finished third with a fivefish stringer that weighed 11.51 pounds. James caught his fish in the With only one tournament remaining, James Edwards is headed down the home stretch with a 21 point lead in the Club’s 2024 Angler of the Year Race. James leads with 148.13 points. Gary West continues in second place with 127.02 points, followed by Michael is in fourth with 100.61 points, Terry Hotard is fifth with 100.58 points, Gary Moore is sixth with 97.32 points, Glen Swihart in seventh with 89.85 points, and Jason Timmons in eighth with 75.69 points.
