Linda Koss passed away peacefully at home in Pearland, Texas, on Monday, June 17th, 2024, at the age of 82. She is preceded in death by her parents, John L. and Maggie V. (Peterson) McDonald, and her brother, John L. McDonald Jr. Left to cherish Linda Mona’s memory are her husband of 59 years, John Koss; son, Eric Christopher Koss; daughter Gina Deann Roberts and husband Sonny Joe; grandchildren, Alexis and Dylan Drake; and a host of many other family and friends.
Linda Mona was born, and grew up in, Many, Louisiana. She graduated from Many High School in the class of 1960, and then attended Northwestern State University. Linda Mona graduated with a bachelor’s degree in 1965 and enjoyed a career in teaching for 35 years. In 1999, she retired from teaching and moved to Pearland, Texas.
Linda Mona loved her family dearly; being a MeMe to her grandchildren was her favorite activity. She also enjoyed trips to casinos with friends, traveling with John throughout the U.S. and abroad, Quilting, and was an active member of the Ladies Gold Association. Linda Mona will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
