NRMC Wound Center recently recognized with national awards

The NRMC Wound Care Center has been recognized as the Center of Distinction 2022, Robert A. Warriner Clinical Excellence Award 2022, and the Prestigious President’s Circle Award 2022.

For more than a decade, Healogics has presented the Center of Distinction Award to acknowledge the hard work, dedication, and accomplishments of the Center staff to deliver care, treatment, and services in a manner that exceeds the performance of other Centers. COD awards are given to Centers that achieve or exceed outstanding clinical and operational results, including ≥ 92% Patient Satisfaction Rate, ≥ 75% Wound Adjusted Comprehensive Healing Rate, and a ≤ 16% Outlier Rate.

To be awarded the Clinical Excellence Award, a Center must score in the top 10 percent of eligible Wound Care Centers for 2022 on the Clinical Excellence measure, which is the Comprehensive Healing Rate weighted by wound mix.

The President’s Circle aims to distinguish the winners as the “best of the best” and focus on a people-first, patient-centered approach to care. NRMC Wound Care is the only Wound Center in the State of Louisiana to earn the President’s Circle in 2021 and 2022 and one of only 30 centers nationally to receive this honor in 2022.
