LAKE CHARLES – Simply put, the opportunity was there for the taking for the top-ranked Florien Blackcats. And they didn’t take advantage. “We quit doing what we do best,” Florien head coach Klifford Walker said following the Blackcats’ 60-56 loss at the hands of fourth-ranked Fairview in the Class B semifinals last Wednesday at Burton Coliseum in the Top 28. “We didn’t finish on several attempts around the goal. We got totally out of what we do. We were out of sync.”
