On March 10, 2022 the members of the 7th-12th Grade Band traveled to Louisiana College in Pineville to compete in the Louisiana Music Educators Association Music Assessment. They received a superior rating from all three stage judges and received a superior in sight reading earning the LMEA Sweepstakes Award, the highest honor that can be given to a concert band in the State of Louisiana. We are so proud of all their hard work this year and all the hardships they have overcome the last several years. Your next chance to hear the band is May 3rd at the Sabine Theater/Many Community Center at 6:30 pm, tickets will be $ 6.00 and can be purchased at the door.
