Graveside services celebrating the life of Mrs. Shirley Meshell, 71, of Zwolle, were held on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery with Bro. Nick Remedies officiating. Shirley was born January 10, 1950 in Converse to Francis Julie (Parrie) Downs and Lonnie Downs and she entered into rest on May 7, 2021 at her residence in Zwolle.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lonnie Downs; her grandparents, Clarence and Mack Parrie; her husband, Charles W. Meshell; and her brother-in-law, Don Henderson. Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Timothy Downs and wife, Andrea of Zwolle; her daughter, Leloni Sepulvado and husband, Joseph of Zwolle; her step daughters, Annette Sepulvado of Zwolle; Rhonda Meshell of Zwolle; Robbie Sepulvado and Anthony (Snake) of Zwolle; Debbie Sepulvado and husband, Freddie of Zwolle; her sisters, Deborah Henderson of Zwolle; Brenda Schieffler and husband, Burt of Shreveport; her brother, Coach Glenn Parrie and wife, Susie of Benton. She also leaves behind her 5 grandchildren; and her companion and special friend, Charlie; her puppy; along with a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives.
Honoring her as pallbearers were Marc McGee, Nik McGee, Kohlman McGee, Jeremy Wilkerson, Riley Downs, and Luke Sepulvado.
