Funeral services celebrating the life of Mr. William Phillips, 52 of Zwolle were held on Friday, April 30, 2021 at Kilpatrick’s Rose-Neath Many Chapel with Bro. Wayne Chance and Bro. Bruce Garner officiating; interment will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery in Florien. Lee was born January 22, 1969 in Zwolle to Marlene (Prewitt) Holland and Johnny Phillips and he entered into rest on April 27, 2021 in Zwolle.

Preceding him in death were his father, Mr. Johnny Phillips; daughter, Lauren Elizabeth Phillips; grandmother, Geraldine Prewitt; father-in-law, Bob Bennett; and his brother-in-law, Gordy Bennett. Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 32 years, Collette Bennett Phillips of Zwolle; son, Garrett Phillips of Zwolle; daughters, Leanna Sepulvado and husband, Waylon of Many; Larissa Arbuckle and husband, Blake of Logansport; mother, Marlene Holland of Hornbeck; sisters, Joni Phillips of Monroe; Samantha Holland of Florien; brothers, Jerome Gipson of Houston, Texas; Rolland Holland and wife, Jessica of Florien; and Gerald Holland of Florien. In addition, he also leaves behind his special babies, his 6 grandchildren, Connor Goyne; Seth Sepulvado; Emery Sepulvado; Winsely Sepulvado; Audrie Phillips; and Ryli Blake Arbuckle. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives. In conclusion, he leaves behind his extended work family, of Jeffrey Martinez, TJM Logging and all of the great crew of his fellow workers.

Honoring him as pallbearers were Colby Johnson, Dustin Johnson, Katie Brown, Coleman Brown, Brandon Bennett, Jerome Gipson, George Ezernack, David Brown, and Dan Bennett. His honorary pallbearers will be Jeffrey Martinez, Kevin Martinez, and Glenn Ezernack.

The family would like to send out a special thank you to Jo Lea Ebarb of Superior Hospice and Shanna Ebarb with Vernon Home Health. In addition, they also would like to say a big thank you for all the outpouring of love and prayers during the illness and loss of their loved one… Lee is gone, but his memory, love, and legacy will never die!
