Funeral services for Patricia Campbell, 67, of Zwolle, were held on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Keith Garvin officiating. Burial followed in the St. Joseph Cemetery.
Patricia Ann Campbell was born on Monday, October 26, 1953 in Converse. She gained her wings on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 in Shreveport.
Patricia grew up surrounded by family in Zwolle. She started doing hair at an early age in her parents’ storage room. Her brother Kenny began helping her and they became an inseparable team. She married her sweetheart Larry Campbell in 1971 and they raised three daughters. She gained many customers at Patricia’s Beauty Shop who became family. She was a spiritual woman attending St. Joseph’s Catholic Church before her health declined. For many years she was a member of St. Martha’s Women Circle. She never met a stranger. She could start a conversation with anyone. She never judged or turned anyone away. Her doors were always open. If you were looking for Patricia you could always find her at the café having coffee with her friends. Her health declined in 2017 but she fought hard, never giving up on life. She will be missed by many.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry David Campbell; parents, David Sepulvado and Annie Ruth (Remedies) Sepulvado; brother, David Kenneth Sepulvado; and her son-in-law, Herman DeWayne Parrie.
She is survived by her daughters, Tina Campbell of Zwolle; Marsha Emmels and husband Patrick of Lafayette; and Melissa Campbell of Zwolle; eight grandchildren, Chas Meshell of Shreveport; Brittian Emmels of Shreveport; Colin Emmels of Arnaudville, Louisiana; Chloe Leone of Natchitoches; Zander and Xavier Leone of Zwolle; Laney Emmels of Lafayette; River Parrie of Zwolle; three great grandchildren, Amelia Meshell of Natchitoches; Nolan Emmels of St. Gabriel, Louisiana; and Oliver Emmels of Shreveport; along with a host of nieces, nephews, friends and God children.
Pallbearers: Kyle Crittenden, Gerald Toopes, Shaun Toopes, Jacob Huggins, Ronald Sepeda, Arnold Sepulvado and Wesley Campbell.
Honorary Pallbearers: Heath Meshell, Randy Sepulvado, Nicholas Evans, Jeremy Young, Patrick Emmels, Lee Allred and David Williams.
