Graveside services for Jannese Pemberton, 100, of Natchitoches, were held on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Oak Hill Cemetery with Rev. David Matlock officiating. The family requests that masks are worn and social distancing guidelines are followed.

Jannese Pemberton was born on Tuesday, September 28, 1920 in Lyford, Texas. She passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at The Courtyard Nursing Home in Natchitoches.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Oscar Kelley and Minnie Francis (Brownfield) Kelley; brother, Jack Kelley; husband, Raymond Pemberton; sister, Betty Carter; and her son-in-law, Bobby Armour, Sr.

She is survived by her daughters, Jenny Prestidge of Natchitoches and Judy Armour of Natchitoches; brother, John Kelley of Aurora, Missouri; granddaughters, Janet Prestidge of Natchitoches and Jana Armour of Natchitoches; step-grandson, Bobby Dale Armour, Jr. and wife Alice; step-granddaughter, Mary Armour; step great-grandson, Jackson Stock; step-great granddaughter, Laura Vance; special family, Marsha LaRue of Natchitoches and Trey Dees and wife Lauren of Ft. Worth, Texas; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
