Funeral services for Michael Phillips, 79, of Robeline were held on Friday, December 18, 2020 at Warren Meadows Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Wayne Chance officiating. Burial followed in the Fort Jesup Cemetery.
Mike Phillips was born on Thursday, January 9, 1941 in Chatham, Louisiana. He passed away on Sunday, December 13, 2020 at University Hospital in New Orleans.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Beason Phillips; daughter, Sherry Phillips Jones; father, William (Bill) Phillips; mother, Adlena Goza Phillips; brother, Joe Phillips; and sister, Ann Phillips Collinsworth.
He is survived by his daughter, Karen Phillips Rachal and husband Steve of Flora, Louisiana; son, Greg Phillips and wife Janelle of Robeline; grandchildren, Allison Wilkerson and husband Stephen of Natchitoches; Alaina Vines of Natchitoches; Lauren Byles and husband Blake of Many; Emily Ramsey and husband Justin of Many; Michael Geoghagan and wife Blair of Many; Adrienne Bradford and husband TJ of Florien; Eric Phillips and wife Allison of Hawaii; Allen Phillips of Florien; Logan Rachal of Flora, Louisiana; Stevie Rachal and wife Casey of Flora, Louisiana; and Chelsea Rachal of Nashville, Tennessee; great grandchildren, Lillian Wilkerson; Madelyn Wilkerson; Anniston Wilkerson; Hannah Byles; Heidi Byles; Austin Byles; Jake Ramsey; Jaxton Ramsey; Savannah Phillips; Elizabeth Phillips; Jalee Twine; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Pallbearers: Greg Vines, Tracy Jones, TJ, Bradford, Aaron Delacerda, Stanley Flenniken, and Virgil Jackson.
