Funeral services for Betty Tryon, 82, of Many, were held on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at Bethsadia Baptist Church with Rev. Dean Crittenden officiating. Burial followed in the Bethsadia Cemetery.
Betty Tryon was born on Monday, November 8, 1937 in Many. She passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at Many Health Care North in Many.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim Grantham and Retha (Berry) Grantham; grandsons, Cody Remedies and C. J. Remedies; and her sisters, Leola Remedies and Janice Napier.
She is survived by her husband, Don Tryon of Many; children, Carolyn Williams and husband Bryan of Florien; Mark Remedies and wife Cecilia of Many; Patricia Dyess and husband Jerry of Bronson, Texas; sister, Linda Leone and husband Rufus of Many; brother, Marvin Grantham of Pleasant Hill; grandchildren, Rachel Morales; Megan Garcie; Walt Norsworthy; Zachary Williams; Cheyenne Williams; Kristy Wilson; Brandi Hernandez; Alicia Bailey; and Joey Dyess; fifteen great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Pallbearers: Zachary Williams, Michel Paul Pilcher, Joey Dyess, Charles Latham lll, Zachary Latham, and Jesse Latham.
Honorary Pallbearers: Walt Norsworthy, Rustin Morales, Christopher Williams, Trendyn Garcie, Connor Dyess, Brayden Bailey and Braxton Garcie.
