Funeral services for James Mary, 71, of Pleasant Hill were held on August 24, 2020 at Old Pisgah Baptist Church in Marthaville. The services will be conducted by Bro. Rubin Weaver, Bro. Dean Johnson, and Bro. Troy Terrell. Burial followed in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Oak Grove, Louisiana.
Buster was born January 16, 1949 in Pleasant Hill. He passed away on August 21, 2020 in Shreveport, Louisiana after an extended illness. Through the entire illness and everyday of his life he kept saying he only wanted the Lord’s name glorified.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hollace and Mildred Mary; father-in-law, Floyd Terrell Jr.; sister, Cindy Britt.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years Cindy Terrell Mary; daughter, Jamie Emmons Mary; sons, Jordan Hollace Mary and fiancé Haley; Andrew Terrell Mary and wife Colton. He is also survived by his ten grandchildren, Gary Barmore; Jeffery Barmore; Camron Barmore; Alaina Barmore; Jaci Mary; Josi Mary; Ransom Crow; Gauge Mary; Peyton Mary; Jemma Mary; sisters, (mom) Sandra King and husband Harold; Martha Mary; cousin, (brother) Dick Shuford and wife Jacque; mother-in-law, Ann Terrell; sisters-in-laws, Tammy Sepulvado and husband Bud; Deb Farmer and husband Jeff; 6 nieces; 6 nephews; and numerous cousins and friends.
Honoring James Hollace (Buster) Mary as pallbearers were Jamie Mary, Jordan Mary, Terrell Mary, Gary Barmore, Jeffery Barmore, Camron Barmore, Ransom Crow, Gauge Mary, DJ Wise, Hebo Mitchell, Jake Sepulvado and Robert Britt.
