A graveside service celebrating the life of Mrs. Bobbie Ann Ezernack were held on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery with Rev. Francis Kamau officiating. Bobbie Ann Rivers Ezernack was born September 15, 1943 in Zwolle to Robert Otis Rivers and Elzado (Sepulvado) Rivers and entered into rest on August 1, 2020 in Shreveport. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, where she was a faithful lifetime parishioner who loved serving the Lord.

She was a great wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother. She never met a stranger and liked to open her home up to family and friends who devoured her scrumptious cooking and enjoyed her bubbly, loving personality.

Preceding Bobbie Ann in death were her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert O. Rivers; her husband, Billy Ray Ezernack; her infant great grandson, Samson Rivers; her brothers, Benny and Terry Rivers; and her brother-in-law, Charles “Rudolph” Ezernack. Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, Bo Ezernack and wife, Lisa of Zwolle; Greg Ezernack and fiancé, Tammy of Many; daughters, Tammy Wallace of Zwolle; Melissa (Lisa) Ebarb and husband, Bobby of Keithville; brothers, Howard Rivers of Noble; Larry Rivers and wife, Sandra of Zwolle; Joe Rivers and wife, Shirley of Many; Roger Rivers of Zwolle; T.D. Rivers and wife, Darlene of Zwolle; sisters, Kay Ezernack of Zwolle; Brenda Carter and husband, Doug of Keithville; Janice Lewis and husband, Randy of Zwolle; Gloria Carrier and husband, Mike of Eunice, Louisiana; sister-in-laws, Wanda Rivers of Zwolle; and Jane Rivers of Zwolle. In addition, she also leaves behind her 15 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren along with a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives. In conclusion, Bobbie also leaves behind some special friends who she loved dearly and cherished her time with them. These include but are not limited to Stephanie (Buff) Alvey, Iceola Kimbrough, Tane` Antee, and “Aunt” Joyce Manshack.

Honoring her as pallbearers were Clint Rivers, Dexter Rivers, Cord Ezernack, Colt “Pookie” Ezernack, Joshton Marcantel, and Billy Joe Ebarb. Honorary pallbearers were BJ Ezernack, Lex Rivers, Zach Ray, and Phillip Sepulvado.

Her family would like to thank all the staff at Elara Caring Home Health for the friendship, comfort and care they provided over the past several years.
