Lois was born March 10, 1934 in Lafourche Parish, Louisiana to Jefferson Cheramie and Delphine Laura (Pitre) Cheramie and entered into rest on July 9, 2020 at her daughter’s residence in The Woodlands, Texas. Funeral services for her were held on Saturday, July 11, 2020 at Siloam Baptist Church with Brother Wilton Anthony and Brother Ricky Robinson officiating; interment to follow in the church cemetery.
Preceding Lois in death were her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jefferson Cheramie; and her son, Chris Anthony Cheramie. Those left behind to cherish her memory are Donald Lee Murphy of Many; son, Robert Webb, Jr. of Saipan of the Northern Mariana Islands; daughters, Dell Webb of Nacogdoches, Texas; Kim Suter and husband, John of Richmond, Texas; Carol Webb of The Woodlands, Texas; sister, Deanna Faggard and husband, Reggie of Marrero, Louisiana; brother, Henry Cheramie of Marrero, Louisiana. In addition, she leaves behind 15 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and another on the way; along with a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and other family to mourn her passing.
Honoring her as pallbearers were Shawn Peterson, Matthew Johnson, Joshua Johnson, Thomas Lightfoot, Jeff Tarpley, and Larry Nugent.
