The Tri-Parish Narcotics Task Force of deputies from DeSoto, Red River, and Sabine parishes recently concluded an investigation into a Sabine Parish resident which resulted in arrest warrants being issued for the distribution of illegal drugs.
Darla K. Lewing, 52, of Florien, was booked into the Sabine Parish Women’s Facility on February 19, for two counts of distribution of methamphetamines. The investigation started after several complaints were received about drug activity in the Shady Hill community near Florien.
