William Ralph “Bill” Ross, 75, of Many, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, January 19, 2019, at the Sabine Medical Center.

Bill, a long time resident of Many, was born November 9, 1943. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He worked and retired as a Department of the Defense civilian in the Directorate of Personnel Management in Fort Polk.

Bill was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was a devoted Christian and a man of strong faith. He lovingly served the Lord in various capacities over the years. He served as a deacon and church secretary/treasurer, but his greatest enjoyment was using his talents for the Lord in the music ministry.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Ralph and Beatrice Elizabeth Ross; and brothers, James Edward Ross and Donald Brackett Ross.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, the love of his life, Donna Ross of Many; son, Will Ross and wife, Teresa, of Many; grandchildren, Tana Ross McNeely and husband, Jesse, and Tristaan Ross, all of Many; great grandchild, Tenley McNeely of Many; brothers, Steven Michael Ross and wife, Laura Jean, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, and David Lynn Ross and Jill of Rockford, Tennessee; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Pallbearers were Austin Davis, Charlie Ross, Chris White, Jesse McNeely, Kenny Grevemberg, Jacob Swindle, Tyler Starks and Weston Eason.

Honorary pallbearers were Ken Grevemberg, Mark Heard, Randy Skidmore, Russ Guillot and Steven Ross.

Funeral services were held January 23 at Lewing Chapel in Many with the Reverends Daniel Davis, Joe Hendrickson, and John Thompson officiating. Interment will be in the Lewing Chapel Cemetery.
