John Michael Carroll, 41, of Fisher, died Thursday, December 13, 2018 in Ardmore, Oklahoma as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.
He was born on May 27, 1977 in Natchitoches, the son of Tommy and Kathy (McCauslin) Carroll. He was a 1995 graduate of Florien High School and was employed with Cactus Drilling at his time of death. He spent the last 23 years working in the oilfield. He enjoyed nothing more than spending quality time with his children teaching them to hunt, going to and participating in rodeos and spoiling his grandbabies.
Michael is survived by his children: Victoria Carroll (Peyton Rubar), Bailey Jessup (Zachary Jones), Justin Carroll (Cheyenne Lyons) and Adrienne Carroll (Jacob Leone); his father, Tommy Carroll and the grandbabies he loved so, Connor Alford, Grayson Jones, Paxton Rubar and baby girl Everleigh Carroll due May 2019. Also left behind is his sister, Candi Taylor (Bruce Taylor) and nephew, Payton Holcomb and niece Madison Holcomb; his rig brothers; along with several aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Kathy McCauslin Carroll; maternal grandparents, Roy and Juanita McCauslin and paternal grandparents, John and Nancy Carroll.
Funeral services were held December 21 at Warren Meadows Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverends John Lewing II and Wayne Chance officiating. Burial followed in Fisher Cemetery.
