Funeral services honoring  the life of Hattie Mae Brown, 88,  were held October 11 at Old Pisgah  Baptist Church in Marthaville,  with Reverend Dean Johnson officiating.  Burial followed at Spring  Ridge Cemetery in Pleasant Hill.  Hattie was born July 6, 1930 in  Pleasant Hill, to Gilbert and Annie  Jacobs Stutts and entered into rest  on October 8, 2018, in Shreveport.  Preceding Hattie in death  were her parents; husband, Hugh  Harvey Brown, Sr.; son, Cecil Ray  Brown; grandsons, Jimmy Simms, Randall Permenter, Jr.; great grandchildren,  R.J. and Kelsi Wates; special friend, Kelly Eason; sisters, Dessie  Savell, Lessie Kirkland; and brothers, Chester, Earl and Larry Stutts.  Those left behind to cherish her memory are her children, Hugh Harvey  Brown, Jr. and wife, Diane, of Belmont, Mary Anne Collins and husband,  Herbert, of Pleasant Hill, Robert P. Brown and wife, J.J., of Ajax,  Betty Brown of Pleasant Hill, Jimbo Brown and wife, Wanda, of Mansfield,  Nena Bridges and husband, Steve, of Pleasant Hill, and Michael Brown  and wife, Sheila, of Longstreet; brother, Jesse Stutts and wife, Stephanie,  of Zwolle; sister Gladys Ballard of Provencal; 18 grandchildren; 55 great  grandchildren; 10 great great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews  and friends galore.  Honoring Hattie as pallbearers were Brent Bridges, Anthony Bridges,  Jimmie Ray Brown, Trey Brown, Shane O’Bannon and Dusty Brown.  Honorary pallbearers were David Anders.
