Funeral services honoring the life of Hosea Eugene Sepulvado were held January 29 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Zwolle with Father Mike Thang’ Wa officiating. He was born on November 30, 1938 in Shreveport to Hosea Sepulvado and Lorena Leone of Zwolle. He entered into rest on January 24, 2018 in Noble at the age of 79. He was a decorated veteran, receiving a good conduct medal while actively serving three years in the United States Marine Corps from 1960 to 1963. While serving he was made a private first class (E-2), before being honorably discharged in June 1963. After leaving active duty military he continued to serve his country in the United States Marine Corps Reserve, while also working for Timber Inc. as a logger. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hosea Sepulvado and Lorena Leone Sepulvado. He is survived by his daughter, Brandi Lopez; sisters, Shawnee Roberson of Baton Rouge, Pawnee Sepulvado and husband, Douglas, of Keithville, Carolyn Sonnier and husband, Raymond, of Zwolle, and Judy Salter of Natchitoches; brother, Carroll Sepulvado of Lake Charles; grandchildren Chandler Ebarb, Madison Ebarb and Marshall Ebarb; and great grandchild, Kennedi Lewis.Pallbearers were Ricky Sepulvado, Freddy Sepulvado, Blake Roberson, Jason Beck, Mitch Sonnier, and Waylon Salter Rose-Neath Funeral Home Many Chapel – (318) 256-0690
